Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Venus AI Consulting website, why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions or preferences over time. This site also uses local storage and other browser storage mechanisms for similar purposes; in this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.

2. How we use cookies

Venus AI Consulting uses only the cookies needed to make the site work and to keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not allow third-party advertising networks to set cookies, and we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Most of the cookies on this site are "essential" — without them, features such as signing in to internal pages would not function. Where we use any non-essential cookie, we explain it below.

3. Types of cookies we use

The table below summarizes the cookies on this site. Specific names and durations may change as we update the platform, but the categories and purposes stay the same.

  • Essential / functional — keep an administrator signed in to internal pages and remember basic preferences so the site works. These cannot be turned off in the system.
  • Security — help detect abuse, protect sign-in, and keep the site and its tools available.
  • Local storage — store information you enter into a tool temporarily so it is not lost if the page reloads; cleared when you close the browser unless you take other action.

4. Session and persistent cookies

Session cookies are deleted from your device when you close your browser. They are used to keep a single visit working — for example, to hold your sign-in state during a session. Persistent cookies remain after you close the browser, for as long as their set lifetime, and are used only where needed for security or to remember a choice you made.

Most cookies on this site are session cookies. We avoid persistent cookies unless a feature cannot work without them.

5. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by Venus AI Consulting. Third-party cookies would be set by another domain, such as an analytics or advertising provider. This site does not use third-party advertising cookies. Where a feature relies on a third-party service — for example, the AI models behind our tools — that provider may set its own cookies on its own domain, governed by its own notice. We recommend reviewing the notice of any embedded or linked service.

6. AI tools and local storage

Features such as the policy draft generator, AI governance risk assessment, and knowledge assistant may use browser storage to hold the text you enter and the output you receive while you work. This stays on your device and is not sent anywhere except to generate the result you requested. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Do not enter confidential or privileged information into these tools. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Managing and deleting cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, such as signing in to internal pages. Blocking or deleting non-essential cookies will not stop the site from functioning.

To control cookies in your browser, use the help links for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, or the settings in your mobile browser. You can also set your browser to warn you before a cookie is set.

8. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Because we do not use advertising cookies or track you for cross-site advertising, our practices are already consistent with that preference. We do not respond to the signal in a special way because we do not engage in the tracking it is meant to limit.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we add, change, or remove cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
